1. Health Insurance
We offer affordable health insurance to temporary staffing employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. All temp staff workers are eligible for health insurance following a 30-day waiting period.
In addition, we provide three health insurance plans: MEC, Preferred, and MVP (Minimum Value Plan) options. Our MEC Plan is available via Breckpoint and offers an Open Network. Comparatively, our Preferred Plan is a step up from our MEC Plan. It offers many of the same benefits as the MEC Plan and coverage for specialist and urgent care visits and other added perks. And, we provide our MVP Plan built on the Medicare Plus Network. Our MVP Plan offers major medical coverage and an Open Network.
2. Dental Insurance
We provide the Dental Pro Plan via Breckpoint. Our dental plan offers coverage for regular dentist appointments. Furthermore, plan participants can use in-network in Aetna’s Dental Administrators Network to further reduce their dental care costs.
3. Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave
Techneeds works with the Equitable Insurance Company (a private Insurance company) to administer medical and family leave claims in accordance with the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (MPFMLA).
Our Massachusetts employees are automatically enrolled in our Equitable Insurance Plan. We contribute 60% of the cost for medical leave on all wages paid to our Massachusetts workers.
4. Direct Deposit
We offer direct deposit to all of our employees. This ensures employees can immediately access their paycheck funds after their bank deposits them.
5. Debit Pay Cards
Techneeds offers debit pay cards via U.S. Bank. Each week, an employee’s debit pay card can be loaded with their net pay.
6. Referral Bonus
We’re always on the lookout for top talent. If a Techneeds employee knows someone who may be a good fit for an open position, we encourage him or her to let us know. Because the employee could be rewarded for their referral.
Techneeds offers referral bonuses of $50.00 to $500.00 to our employees. All qualified referral employees must be on assignment (actively on our payroll) for at least 45 days.
